With 32 years in design and home furnishings sales, I know that every day will bring a new client with a new challenge. I am the merchandise manager of this fabulous 50,000 sq. ft. showroom, and that keeps me incredibly busy. My background is mostly in hotel and multiple unit facilities. I spent 27 years on Maui perfecting my craft. I owned and operated my own home furnishing store and specialized in custom vacation homes for absentee owners.

With 22 years of home furnishing and interior design experience, my clients have often commented on my patience, good sense of humor, and my ability to listen well. My design philosophy is to ensure that with each canvas, or home, the aspects of color, scale, texture, contrast and the client’s individualism are considered to determine the elements of each project. Ken CalderheadInterior Designer

There is not enough room to list all of my work experience in this still fascinating field. My almost 50 years of design has taken me from Vancouver to Santa Monica with stops in Honolulu, Big Sky, Salt Lake City and the ever popular Detroit! I’ve worked on corporate offices, celebrity residences and multi-unit condominium projects. There’s not much I haven’t touched.
